# Configuration

Learn how to correctly configure and use the Lagom Promotion Manager (opens new window) extension to enhance your website's promotional capabilities.

This powerful Lagom WHMCS Client Theme extension lets you create eye-catching promotional sliders, helping you effectively market new products, highlight active discounts, or showcase sales campaigns. With its user-friendly interface, you can design and manage custom promotional banners effortlessly, improving user engagement and boosting conversion rates. # Promotions

When you enter to the Promotion Manager extension the first page which will be shown to you is a list of "Promotions". In some cases this list could already contain some items in the table, this is because our extension automatically creates promotion banners, based on the "MarketConnect" (opens new window) product which are activated in your WHMCS installation. This way you have all the default WHMCS banners available, and you can easily modify them or decide if you would like these banners to be disabled. Expolre more below.

  1. Name - The name of the promotion.
  2. Type - The type of promotion created. Currently, only the "Banner" type is available.
  3. Start Date - The date when the promotion should begin displaying.
  4. Due Date - The date when the promotion should stop displaying.
  5. Status - Indicates whether the promotion is visible or not:
    • Published: The promotion is active and visible.
    • Disabled: The promotion is inactive and hidden.
  6. Manage - Provides access to the management page for the specific promotion.
  7. Add Promo - Allows you to create a new promotion.
  8. Refresh - Refreshes the list of default WHMCS MarketConnect products. If a new WHMCS MarketConnect product is added, a manual refresh may be required for the new promotion to appear.

# Promotion Settings

When you access the promotion management page, the first thing you will see on the left side is the promotion settings panel. All available options are thoroughly explained below.

This section allows you to configure all the banner settings displayed across multiple locations in the Client Theme and Ordering Process pages. For more details, refer to the Placement Settings documentation.

# Promotion Preview

Displays a live preview of the generated banner, updating in real time based on the settings you modify.

# Choose Language

This setting allows you to choose the language used for configuring banners. It updates the language for both the Homepage and Default banners, enabling you to easily create content in multiple languages.

# Promotion Name

Enter a name for the promotion, which will appear in the promotion list table. This helps you easily identify and manage the promotions you create.

# Caption

Add a small caption text that will be displayed above the banner title. This can be used to provide additional context or highlight key details.

# Promotion Title

Configure the main title of the banner, which will appear prominently next to the illustration.

# Button URL

Specify the URL for the banner button to determine where the promotion should redirect users when clicked.

# Button Title

Set the text to be displayed on the banner button, making it clear and inviting for users.

# Homepage Banner Content

This section is visible only when the "Homepage" option is enabled in the "Promotion Placement" widget. It allows you to configure settings specifically for banners displayed in the "Modern" homepage template of the Lagom Client Theme and the "Promotion Manager" section type within the Lagom Website Builder.

# 1. Homepage Caption

Set the small text displayed above the banner title.

# 2. Homepage Title

Set the main title for the banner.

# 3. Homepage Description

Set the description text displayed below the main homepage title.

# 4. Primary Button

Configure the text and URL for the primary button. If these fields are left empty, the button will not appear.

# 5. Secondary Button

Configure the text and URL for the secondary button. If these fields are left empty, the button will not appear.

# 6. Pagination Icon

Choose the icon for the promotion banner navigation.

# 7. Pagination Title

Set the title for the promotion banner navigation.

# Promotion Display Settings

When managing a specific promotion banner, you will find the "Display Settings" sidebar on the right side. This sidebar offers multiple options to customize how your banner is displayed. Explore the details below to learn about all the available display settings.

# Promotion Placement

Choose where specific promotion should be displayed in your WHMCS client area. This can be configured in "Promotion Placement" widget:

# 1. Client Home

Display promotions on the main dashboard of the Client Area.

# 2. Product Details

Display promotion banner on the product management pages.

# 3. Product List

Display promotion banner on the product list page.

# 4. Domain List

Display promotion banner on the domain list page.

# 5. Cart Checkout

Display promotion banner at the final step of the order process.

# 6. Homepage

Display promotion banner on the homepage (available only for modern template). This option will show additional configuration options descibed in Homepage Settings section.

# Choose Graphic

To choose graphic, please "Click to change" button in "Graphic" widget:

By default you can choose from predefined Lagom illustrations, available under "Default Lagom Icons" cection. To add your custom icons or graphics, please upload them in our Miedia Library tab.

# Choose Graphic Type

Promotion Manager has option to choose from 2 different types of graphics. Switching between "Banner Horizontal" and "Banner Vertical" will change promotion preview on the left. "Banner Homepage" does not have live preview.

# Background image

This option place selected graphic as background image.

  1. Top, left, right, bottom - allow to customize the graphic spacing
  2. Background height and width - allows to configure correct size of uploaded graphics, if you'd like to have full width graphics please use predefined settings.
  3. Vertical and horizontal align - allows to configure position of the graphic. This can be used for graphics, which do not fill the background fully. learn more about aligns (opens new window).
  4. Opacity and Background size - Opacity configure the graphic opacity. If you are using full width graphic, it is recommended to use opacity between 20-50. Background size, specify the size of the bacgrkound images, learn more about background-size (opens new window) property.

# Custom icon

This option place selected graphic as icon/illustration, on the right of the banner. The same as our default Lagom illustrations.

  1. Top, left, right, bottom - allow to customize the graphic spacing
  2. Icon height and width - allows to configure correct size of uploaded icon.
  3. Vertical and horizontal align - allows to configure position of the graphic. Learn more about aligns (opens new window).

# Default Lagom icon

When you choose one of the graphic from "Default Lagom Icons" section in "Media manager", our extension willl disable all "Graphics Settings" and will use our predefined settings by the theme.

# Graphic Animation

Allows you to select the type of entrance animation for the graphic when the banner appears.

  1. Slide Left - The graphic smoothly slides in from the left.
  2. Fade In - The graphic fades into view gradually.

Enables customization of the banner's colors.

Available customization options:

  • Gradient Start – The first color of the banner background gradient.
  • Gradient End – The second color of the banner background gradient.
  • Caption Color – The color of the caption text.
  • Title Color – The color of the banner title.
  • Description Color – The color of the banner description text.

# Media Library

Promotion Manager for Lagom WHMCS Client Theme allows to upload your own graphics, and then use them in specific promotions. To upload graphic file:

  1. Go to "Media Library" tab.
  2. Click "Upload Media" button, and choose image which you'd like to upload.

# General Settings

1. Allow promotion closing - choose whether you want to allow closing of the promotion banners.

2. Close for amount of days - choose how much days closing selection should be stored in browser cookie.
