# Templates

With the introduction of 2.0.0 version, we have upgraded the "Styles" section to "Templates" – giving you even more freedom to perfectly match your brand identity where you can now choose from different templates available for our product. Currently available templates:

  1. Template 1 (opens new window) – The original design you know and love. A clean, professional, yet visually attractive template – now refreshed with three available styles.
  2. Template 2 (opens new window) – A more dynamic and creative layout, with the email title stylishly displayed over the header. Eye-catching and elegant, available in three styles.
  3. Template 3 (opens new window) – A sleek, business-focused template offering a modern and sophisticated look, perfect for professional communication.

# Styles

Each available template now offers three unique styles: Default, Futuristic, and Modern, allowing you to easily select the layout and design that best match your brand and meet your customers’ expectations.
Click the "Activate" button to apply a specific style for the selected template.

By clicking on any style thumbnail, you can open a preview window to see exactly how each template will look.

Please note: the email message content shown in the previews is for demonstration purposes only and is not included in the product. Our product does not modify the actual email messages sent by the WHMCS system.

# Color Schemes

Starting from version 2.0.0, the Lagom WHMCS Email Template is fully integrated with the Lagom WHMCS Client Theme, automatically adapting to the color scheme and settings configured in the Style Manager (opens new window). This powerful feature allows you to personalize your email templates without writing a single line of code or modifying complex files.

Depending on the selected template, color schemes adjust key elements such as banners, buttons, links, and accent colors to maintain a consistent and professional appearance. All template styles fully support this feature and adapt automatically to your chosen color scheme.

# How it works

For example, if you are using the "Default Style" for "Template 3" in the Lagom WHMCS Email Template, it will apply the color scheme selected in the Style Manager (opens new window) for the "Default" style. This includes applying settings such as font size, font colors, button styles, and more. In the example below, the "Green" color scheme has been selected:

As a result, your emails will inherit the "Green" color scheme and will be sent to your customers looking exactly as shown below:

# Used Variables

All the colors and styles used in the Lagom WHMCS Email Template can now be easily modified by adjusting the variables in the Style Manager (opens new window). Below we have listed the most common variables from the Style Manager that are used in Lagom Email Templates, helping you better understand how everything connects and what you can customize.

# Backgrounds

If a specific template includes banners that use primary or secondary colors, the following variables are applied based on the style settings:

# Font Family

The font used in the email template is inherited directly from the settings in the "Typography" (opens new window) category within the Style Manager, as shown below:

# Font Colors

The following font colors are used in the email templates, based on the "Typography" (opens new window) settings:

  1. Base – Default body text color.
  2. Heading – Used for headings and emphasized text elements.
# Font Size

The email templates use the "Medium" font size setting for all body text, based on the configuration in the "Typography" (opens new window) section of the Style Manager:

# Heading Sizes

Any heading text used within your email messages will follow the heading size settings configured in the "Typography" (opens new window) variables:

# Predefined Messages

In this section, we provide you with ready-made message templates that you can use to quickly implement professional email designs in your WHMCS system. These templates are prepared for both LTR (Left-To-Right) and RTL (Right-To-Left) languages, ensuring full localization for your client communications.

All predefined messages can be found in the Lagom Email Template package under the "predefined-messages" folder. To add a message to your WHMCS system, follow these steps:

  1. Open the appropriate file from the "predefined-messages" folder.
  2. Copy its contents.
  3. Go to WHMCSEmail Templates.
  4. Click Edit next to the desired email template.
  5. Paste the copied contents into the template editor.
  6. Click Save Changes.

# Invoice Payment Confirmation

This predefined message provides a clear and professional layout for your payment receipt emails. It includes sections for client and transaction details. Additionally, it features a prominent "Login To Client Area" button, making it easy for clients to access their account.

# Localization

# Translations

Starting from version 2.0.0, all text fields that can be configured inside the Lagom WHMCS Email Template addon can now be easily translated. Simply click on the "Translate" button next to any field, which will open a modal displaying all languages available in your WHMCS system, as shown below:

This feature greatly improves the multilingual experience by ensuring that customers receive emails with headings and footer text in the language assigned to their account.

For example, if your WHMCS system’s default language is English, but a specific customer has selected Czech for their client portal, the email will automatically use the values entered in the Czech translation field:

# RTL Support

With the introduction of translation features in 2.0.0, we are proud to announce full RTL (Right-To-Left) support for email communication, something never natively available in WHMCS before! Our email templates now automatically detect whether the customer’s selected language is LTR or RTL and adjust the email layout accordingly, ensuring a fully localized and professional experience.

If a client chooses an RTL language, such as:

  • Arabic
  • Farsi (Persian)
  • Hebrew

The email design will seamlessly switch to a Right-To-Left layout, delivering a perfectly aligned and easy-to-read message, as shown in the example below:

Thanks to this feature, your communication becomes truly global — without needing any manual adjustments or coding!

Once Email Template for Lagom WHMCS Client Theme extension will be activated, new logo boxes will show in "Branding" (opens new window) tab of Lagom WHMCS Client Theme.
