# Licensing & Support

Lagom WHMCS Leased Bundle can ONLY be purchased from our official website. We do not work with any resellers. If you purchased this product elsewhere, it means you received illegal software. Please contact us for assistance.

# Leased License Overview

The Lagom WHMCS Leased Bundle (opens new window) is a subscription-based license that gives you access to several Lagom products in one package. It offers a simple way to begin working with Lagom at a lower entry cost.

A leased license does not grant permanent ownership. The bundle can be used only while the subscription remains active, and access to updates and support is available during this period. If the subscription expires or payment is not completed, the bundle becomes unavailable.

The Bundle uses a single license key assigned to one production domain. There is no Five Domains version and no development license for this product.

The following products are included:

# Subscription Renewal

Your Leased Bundle works as long as your subscription is active. You can choose monthly or yearly billing.

Renewal works as follows:

  • A renewal invoice is created automatically before the end of your billing cycle.
  • You will receive email reminders so you have time to pay it.
  • Auto Renewal is optional — you can turn it on manually in the RS Studio Client Portal if you want renewals to happen automatically.

If the invoice remains unpaid for another 7 days after the license suspension, your license will be canceled and will no longer be eligible for renewal. In that case, you will need to purchase a new Leased Bundle license.

# License Validation and Grace Period

The system validates your subscription and server details once per day. If your WHMCS installation cannot connect to our licensing server, a short grace period begins.

For the Lagom WHMCS Leased Bundle:

  • Days 1–3: The system retries automatically without showing any alerts.
  • Day 4: A warning appears in the WHMCS admin area.
  • Day 7: If the connection is still not restored, the entire Bundle is deactivated.

This validation window ensures that the Bundle works only with an active subscription.

# Using Additional Extensions

Extensions that are not included in the Lagom WHMCS Leased Bundle (for example: Promotion Manager, Sensitive Data, or other standalone Lagom extensions) can be purchased separately.

These extensions can be installed and used together with the Leased Bundle on the same WHMCS installation. Their licensing is managed separately and follows their own subscription rules.

Installation of additional extensions is performed according to the standard installation process described in the documentation of each specific extension.

# License Validation and File Integrity

The licensing system also checks file integrity to ensure that all required files are correctly uploaded and have not been modified.

If any module files are missing, modified, or were not uploaded correctly, the following alert will be displayed. This helps identify issues that may affect the proper functionality of the product.

When you see this alert:

  1. Check the files mentioned in the alert message.
  2. Re-upload the missing or modified files from a clean installation package.
  3. If the issue continues, contact our support team for help.

Modifying encoded addon files is strictly prohibited and will cause the product to be disabled automatically.

# What to Do If You See a Licensing Error

If the system detects that your domain, IP address, or directory does not match the information saved on our licensing server, you may see a warning message in the WHMCS admin area.

To fix this:

  1. Reissue your license using the steps described in the License Reissue section below.
  2. Wait up to 24 hours for the system to refresh details on your server.
  3. If the message does not disappear after one day, contact our support (opens new window) team.

If the problem is not fixed before the end of the grace period, the Bundle will be deactivated.

# License Reissue

If you move your WHMCS installation or change your domain, IP address, or directory, you need to reissue your license.

  1. Log in to the RS Studio Client Portal.
  2. Navigate to Products.
  1. Choose the Lagom WHMCS Leased Bundle product and click "Manage".
  1. Click the "Reissue" button to update your license details.

# Change License Key

If you need to use a different license key:

  1. Copy your new license key.
  2. In WHMCS admin, go to Addons → RS Themes.
  3. Click the "Change License" button.
  4. Paste the new license key in the displayed modal and click the "Verify Key" button.

# Product Support and Access Duration Policy

# End of Life Policy

All versions of our Lagom WHMCS products receive full support and access to downloads for 24 months from their release date.

After the 24-month support period:

  • download of that version will no longer be available
  • technical support for that version may be limited or unavailable

We recommend keeping your installation up to date to ensure access to improvements and fixes.

# Patches and Fixes

We do not provide patches or fixes for versions that have reached their end of life. Please upgrade to the latest version for the best experience.
