# Licensing & Support

Lagom WHMCS Client Theme licenses can ONLY be purchased from our website, there are NO resellers allowed to sell our licenses or products. If you have ordered your product/license somewhere else, it means you have purchased illegal software. Contact us to learn more.

# License Reissue

When you move your WHMCS system or install the Lagom product on a different WHMCS installation and if the domain, IP address, or directory you use for the Lagom product has changed, you have to update your license:

  1. Log in to our RS Studio Client Portal.
  2. Navigate to Products.
  1. Choose the Lagom WHMCS Client Theme product and click on the "Manage" button.
  1. Scroll down and click on the "Reissue" button, this will force the update of your new server details.

# Change License Key

  1. Copy your new license key.
  2. Go to “Addons” then click “RS Themes” in the navigation menu of your WHMCS admin area.
  3. Click the “Manage” button located next to the product that has been installed in previous steps.
  4. Enter your product license key and press the “Refresh” button.

# Renewing Access to Technical Support and Updates

When you buy the Lagom WHMCS Client Theme, you get lifetime license for our product. However, if you do not have an active subscription, you will not have access to our "Technical Support" and product "Updates", including the ability to download newer versions. To regain these features, you need to renew your subscription. This can be done either by renewing the subscription for one year or by turning on the Auto Renewal function.

Follow the steps below to renew your subscription.

  1. Log in to our RS Studio Client Portal.
  2. Navigate to Products.
  1. Choose the Lagom WHMCS Client Theme product and click on the "Manage" button.
  1. Choose "Renew Service For 1 Year" and if you want, "Turn Auto Renewal ON".
  • Renew Service For 1 Year: This button allows you to renew your subscription for one year. By selecting this option, you will have access to technical support and product updates for the next 12 months.

  • Turn Auto Renewal ON: This button activates the auto-renewal feature. When this option is enabled, your subscription will automatically renew each year, ensuring continuous access to technical support and updates without the need for manual renewal.

# Is licensing dependent on Lagom being online?

No. Lagom uses a local key licensing system with daily remote verification checks. Your “RS Themes” addon will contact our server to ensure that it is being run in the correct location and the license is still valid.

If our licensing server is unavailable on the day of your next verification check, the system will try to make a connection within 30 days. If, after this time, the system still cannot verify your license with our licensing server, your RS Theme will be deactivated. During this period, you will be able to monitor notifications in your WHMCS admin area as well as in the “RS Themes” addon.

All versions of our Lagom WHMCS products receive full support and access to downloads for 24 months from their release date. During this period, customers can benefit from comprehensive support services and have unrestricted access to download the respective versions from our client portal.

# End of Life Policy

After the 24-month support period, the download of that version will no longer be available through our client portal. It is important to note that once a version reaches its end of life (EOL), support for that version may be limited or entirely unavailable. We encourage our customers to stay updated with the latest versions to ensure they continue receiving full support and access to new features and improvements.

# Patches and Fixes

We do not release any patches or fixes for versions that have crossed their end of life date. To maintain optimal performance and security, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of our products.
