# Installation

This article will walk you through the steps necessary to install our SupportPal Module Integration extension on your WHMCS sever. We will guide you carefully through the whole installation process.

# Before Start

# Prepare the SupportPal WHMCS Integration

Make sure that SupportPal WHMCS module (opens new window) is already installed and fully configured on yor WHMCS server.

# Version compatibility check

It is crucial to understand the versions related to the SupportPal module, so that you do not make a mistake when checking the SupportPal compatibility with our module integration. Please pay attention as the names could be misleading.

The whole SupportPal setup consists of:

  1. "SupportPal Application".
  1. "SupportPal WHMCS Integration".
  • The "SupportPal WHMCS Integration" version can be found in WHMCS System Settings -> Addon Modules -> SupportPal Integration.
  1. Lagom integration of the "SupportPal WHMCS Integration" module.
  1. To summarize, you need to match the "SupportPal WHMCS Integration" version found in Addon Modules with the "Lagom SupportPal Module Integration" version.

# Download Files

  1. Log in to our RS Studio Client Portal.
  2. Navigate to My Services.
  3. Choose product that you wish to install and click the "Manage" button.
  4. Download the latest version by pressing the "Download" button on the main product page. If you want to choose one of the previous releases, click "Show all files".

# Upload Files

By doing below steps, your default SupportPal template files, located in /templates/supportpal will be overwritten by Lagom Module Integration files. Please perform backup of this files, before uploading our files.

  1. Extract downloaded file.
  2. Upload templates folder to main directory on your WHMCS server.

# Activate Extension

This extension do not need to be activated, if you do not need the additional management settings described in "Configuration" documentation article.

  1. Log in to the WHMCS admin area on your server.
  2. Go to "Addons" then click "RS Themes" in the navigation menu of your WHMCS admin area.
  3. Click on "Manage" for the specific theme.
  4. Select "Extensions" from the list of available tabs.
  5. Click on the "Manage" button next to "SupportPal Module Integration" extension.
  6. Afterwards, press "Activate Extension" button and start management.
