# Website Export/Import

Welcome to the comprehensive guide on using the Website Export/Import feature in Lagom WHMCS Website Builder (opens new window). This article walks you through the process of seamlessly migrating and managing websites, streamlining your site management process. Learn how to effortlessly export and import website data for enhanced efficiency.

Please be aware: Exported files, particularly when exporting all pages, may be quite large. We recommend adjusting the post_max_size and upload_max_filesize settings to 128MB prior to importing files to accommodate this. It is crucial to ensure that the post_max_size value is set equal to or higher than the upload_max_filesize to prevent import issues.

# Export

Our integrated export functionality provides you with the choice to export either all the pages created by the Lagom WHMCS Website Builder or only specific selected pages.

This level of flexibility enables you to seamlessly transition between various servers. For instance, if you've crafted a new webpage on your development server, you can effortlessly locate it within the pages list and export it with a single click. Our tool takes care of exporting all the necessary images associated with that particular page. Additionally, there's an option to export the "Predefined Sections"that have been utilized on this page.

  1. Export All Pages - When selected, all pages generated by the website builder, will be exported as single .zip file. Package preparation may take a few minutes, depending on the number of pages and assets. Therefore, please refrain from closing your browser window until the package has been fully generated.
  2. Export Selected Pages - Upon selection, you will have the option to choose specific pages for export from the system. You can select multiple pages as needed.
  3. Export Predefined Sections - When selected, all "Predefined Sections" used on selected pages, will be also exported and included in the .zip file.

# Import

The import function makes it easy to bring back pages you've exported before with just one click. If there's a page with the same name already in the system when you are importing, you'll be asked if you want to replace the old page and its parts or keep a new version alongside.
