# Page Sections

Unlike other page categories, the Promotion category offers the flexibility to add content in two distinct areas. One is for the main content of your promotional page, and the other is an optional area where you can prepare content that displays once the promotion ends.

# Promotion Sections

In this section, you can add various elements available in the Lagom WHMCS Website Builder, which will be shown during the promotional period specified by the "Start Date" and "End Date" settings. The elements added here form the main content of your Promotion Page.

# Expired Promotion Sections

This section allows you to set up content that will appear after the promotion has ended. It is only used if the "Display Expired Promotion Section" option is selected under the "Action After End Date" settings.

# Page Settings

Unlike other page categories, the Promotion Page type comes with additional settings located in the sidebar. These settings are the key promotion duration configuration, as well as options for displaying the theme and our preferred navigation type. More information below.

# Promotion Display Time

These settings let you set how long the promotion lasts and what happens when it ends. If you add a "Banner Default" or "Graphic" section types to your Promotion Page, you can sync the Timer in these sections with the overall timing of the promotion. This means you can align the Timer with the start and end of your Promotion Page. For more on setting up the Timer to work with these settings, check the Common Settings section.

# Start Date

The date when the promotion begins and content from the "Promotion Sections" section starts showing.

# End Date

The date when the promotion stops showing. The contents of the "Promotion Sections" will stop showing. See the "Action After End Date" function below, which allows you to determine what will happen when the promotion ends.

# Action After End Date

Choose what to display on the promotion page once the promotion is over to avoid showing an error page:

  • Custom URL Redirection - In the "Custom URL" field, enter the URL where users should be redirected after the promotion ends. Ensure the URL starts with https:// or http://.
  • Display Expired Promotional Section - This is the default setting. It shows content from the "Expired Promotion Sections" if you have added any. If no content is added, this will result in an empty page.
  • WHMCS Redirection - Choose a predefined WHMCS page to redirect users to.
  • Homepage Redirection - Select this option to redirect users to the homepage.

# Promotion Layout & Style

Choose from four pre-designed themes, each with its own unique color scheme and illustrations tailored to specific promotions. Use the color picker to customize the background colors. Note that themes with darker backgrounds automatically apply lighter text for readability.

You can also select the type of navigation that should be displayed on your Promotion page.

# Theme

Here, you can choose from a range of predefined themes for your Promotion page, each featuring custom illustrations crafted by our team of graphic designers. Look forward to more themes in future updates.

# Tips

# Promotion Codes

When creating a page, you can manage the promo codes created in WHMCS by simply adding them to selected products or product groups. This is done by adding promo codes in the appropriate places during the "Products", or "Featured TLDs" type configuration. For more information, please refer to the detailed guidelines in the Common Settings (opens new window).
