After completing the installation and activating your license, all products included in the Lagom WHMCS Leased Bundle (opens new window) are already enabled and ready to use. This guide will help you configure the most important elements so your WHMCS is ready for real use, including client area design, website structure, email branding, and basic client notifications.
Lagom WHMCS Client Theme (opens new window) controls the visual structure of your WHMCS system. It defines navigation, layout, and branding elements used accross your website. We reccommend proceeding with its configuration first to define the overall look and structure of your WHMCS. All configuration options are available in the WHMCS admin area under Addons → RS Themes.
Open the Branding tab.
In the upper part of this section, you can upload most imporant elements of your branding:
Upload both logo versions to ensure correct display on all screen sizes. By scroll down you will find further branding elements.
Upload all logo variants first to ensure consistent branding across your website, client area, and email communication.
Start by selecting a ready style and activating it. Open the Styles tab.
Find the style you want to use, for example Modern, and open the Actions menu next to it. You can use Live Preview to see how the style looks before applying it. When you are ready, click Activate. You can adjust colors later if needed.
To modify the colors or other settings of the currently active style, click Manage. This will open the Style Manager, where you can configure the appearance of your website in greater detail:
Start with the Color Schemes section and select one of the ready color variants. After making changes, click Save Changes.

Use Live Preview to compare available layouts before applying them.
Within left sidebar, below the main navigation settings, you will also find Footer Layout allowing you to choose how the footer is structured at the bottom of your website:
Layouts help you control how information is organized and presented to your clients.
Open the Settings tab.
This section contains global options that affect how the theme behaves across your entire WHMCS installation. At this stage, you do not need to configure everything. Instead:
Each setting includes a tooltip icon with a short explanation. If you need detailed information, refer to the dedicated Settings documentation article (opens new window).
You can return to this section later whenever you need to adjust specific behavior.
Lagom WHMCS Website Builder (opens new window) allows you to create and manage website pages directly inside WHMCS. It is fully integrated with the Lagom WHMCS Client Theme and uses the same visual structure and styles. To get started quickly, you can use ready pages instead of building everything manually.
Open the Pages tab.
When entering this section for the first time, you can choose:
Importing demo pages is recommended if you want a ready structure that you can modify instead of building everything from scratch.
In this step, you will learn how to create and edit pages. You can use this knowledge later when building your website. To create a new page, click Add New in the Pages section.
To edit an existing page, click the Manage button next to the selected item.
This opens the page editor where you can build your content using sections. Pages in Lagom WHMCS Website Builder are built from visual blocks called sections. Each section represents a specific part of the page, such as a banner, product list, or feature block.
Sections are the building blocks of each page. In this step, you will learn how to add and manage sections so you can later create your own page layouts.
Inside the page editor, click Add Section.
You can choose from available section types such as Banner, Products, Product Groups, or Features. Each section can be configured directly in the interface. You can edit content, adjust settings, and reorder sections using drag-and-drop.
After saving the page, you can use the Preview button in the top right corner to check how the page looks without publishing it.
For detailed information about each section type and its available fields, see the Website Pages documentation (opens new window). Documentation links are also available directly inside the addon, and many options include tooltips that lead to relevant articles.
Open the Menu tab in the RS Themes addon.
In this section, you can edit existing menu items or create a new menu structure. You can add custom links, organize dropdown items, and control which pages are visible in your website navigation. Proper menu configuration helps visitors quickly find important sections of your website.
For a complete explanation of available options, see the Menu Manager documentation (opens new window).
Once you complete configuration of your Pages and Menus go back to Pages tab and open the Sitemap section from the left sidebar.
Here you can enable the automatic sitemap generation. When this option is enabled, a sitemap file will be updated automatically each time you create or modify pages. This helps search engines better understand and index the structure of your website.
For more details, see the Website Sitemap documentation (opens new window).
Lagom Email Template controls the visual appearance of emails sent from your WHMCS system. It allows you to match email design with the branding configured in Client Theme. The email content, such as invoice details, is managed in WHMCS. This template controls the layout and visual design. All settings are available in RS Themes → Extensions → Email Template.
Open the Settings tab inside the Email Template extension.
In this section, you can configure global elements used across all email templates, such as header text, footer content, and social links. If you manage multiple languages, you can configure translations using the Translate button.
For more information, see the Email Template Configuration documentation (opens new window).
Open the Templates tab.
Here you can select a predefined email layout and choose a visual style.
If you want to change the colors used in the selected email style, modify the corresponding style in the Style Manager. See the Email Template Configuration documentation (opens new window) for step-by-step instructions.
We have prepared enhanced versions of selected system email templates to help you quickly improve their appearance. For example, you can import a visually improved version of Invoice Payment Confirmation.
For step-by-step instructions, see the Predefined Messages documentation (opens new window).
Lagom Client Notifications allows you to display custom messages and alerts inside the client area or on selected pages of your website. All settings are available in RS Themes → Extensions → Client Notifications. Start by creating a simple notification. You can configure advanced options later if needed.
Click Add New to create a new notification.
After clicking Add New, the notification editor will open. The editor is divided into sections that control different aspects of the notification, such as content, visibility, and display rules.
To create a simple notification that is visible on your website, configure the following basic options:
In the right panel:
Scroll down to the Notification Content section and enter your message.
After saving the changes, the notification will be visible in the selected areas. You do not need to configure all available options at this stage. Start with this basic setup, then return later to refine the display conditions and appearance.
For more advanced configuration examples, see the Client Notifications documentation (opens new window).
You can import ready-made notification examples prepared by our team. These preconfigured notifications are ready to use and help you get started quickly without the need for manual setup.
You can modify, disable, or remove them at any time to better match your website's needs. For more information, see the Predefined Notifications documentation (opens new window).
