Lagom WHMCS Website Builder has been developed as extension to Lagom WHMCS Client Theme (opens new window), which means it can be ONLY used with Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license to which they have been assigned.

# Product Version Access Validation

To ensure transparency and proper license usage, we have introduced a mechanism that checks whether your license has access to the version of the Lagom WHMCS Website Builder you are trying to download or install.

# How does it work?

Each Lagom WHMCS Website Builder license includes access to Updates & Support for a defined period – for example, 12 months, depending on your selected billing cycle.

  • During this time, you can download and install any version released within your active subscription period.
  • Once your support period ends, you will still have access to the versions released before your expiration date, but you will not be able to install or update to any newer versions.

The system automatically validates which versions are accessible to you, based on the release date of each version and the status of your subscription.

# How to check available versions?

In your Client Panel (opens new window) under the Products section:

  • A visible "Download" button indicates that the version is available under your license.
  • A disabled or missing button means your license does not include access to that version.

# Example

You purchase the Lagom WHMCS Website Builder with a 12-month subscription on May 1, 2024. Your access to updates and support ends on May 1, 2025.

  • All versions released until May 1, 2025 will remain available to you.
  • Attempting to install a version released after that date (e.g., version 1.1.4 from July 21, 2025) will result in an error message, unless you renew your subscription.

# Assign License

Before you will be able to activate Lagom WHMCS Website Builder, you have to assign it to correct Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license.

  3. Find Lagom Website Builder product and click the “Manage” button.

# Choose Production License

IMPORTANT: Verify that the type of your extension is compatible with your Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license type. If your license does not appear on the list, make sure you have selected/purchased an extension that matches your Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license type (Single Domain or Five Domains), as detailed in the Extensions - General Information section.

  1. Click on the input field and choose your production Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click on the “Change” button.

# Choose Development License

IMPORTANT: Verify that the type of your extension is compatible with your Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license type. If your license does not appear on the list, make sure you have selected/purchased an extension that matches your Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license type (Single Domain or Five Domains), as detailed in the Extensions - General Information section.

  1. Click on the input field and choose your development Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click on the “Change” button.

# Change License

If you decide to activate Extension for different Lagom WHMCS Client Theme license, you can easily done that by following the same steps as above and assigning Extension to different license.

You need to remember that change of license assignment will deactivate extension on previously assigned license.

All versions of our Lagom WHMCS products receive full support and access to downloads for 24 months from their release date. During this period, customers can benefit from comprehensive support services and have unrestricted access to download the respective versions from our client portal.

# End of Life Policy

After the 24-month support period, the download of that version will no longer be available through our client portal. It is important to note that once a version reaches its end of life (EOL), support for that version may be limited or entirely unavailable. We encourage our customers to stay updated with the latest versions to ensure they continue receiving full support and access to new features and improvements.

# Patches and Fixes

We do not release any patches or fixes for versions that have crossed their end of life date. To maintain optimal performance and security, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of our products.
