1. Owned Licenses
RS Studio does not provide trial licenses for its products. Instead, we offer a 14-day Money Back Guarantee on owned (one-time) license purchases, so you can buy and fully evaluate the product in your own environment. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.
To request a refund, contact us through the client portal or by email at [email protected]. Eligible refunds are processed within 14 calendar days from confirmation of eligibility.
The following conditions apply:
- Customers found to be in violation of our Terms of Service are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized redistribution, use beyond the license scope, or modification of protected files.
- To qualify for a refund, you must fully remove all purchased files, software, and components from your servers and local systems. Continued use or distribution of any part of a refunded product is prohibited and may lead to legal consequences.
- Refunds are not granted for dissatisfaction based solely on personal expectations after the 14-day window has expired.
- After the 14-day window, you may instead exchange the product for another of the same value, or for a more expensive product with an additional payment.
Open-Source Products
Open-source products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances. Please consider your purchase carefully before completing your order.
2. Leased Bundle (Subscription)
The Lagom WHMCS Leased Bundle is a subscription. You do not purchase a permanent license; you pay for access to the bundled products for as long as the subscription is active. The bundle is billed either monthly or annually, and the refund terms depend on the billing cycle you choose.
Monthly Plan
- You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next charge.
- We do not refund the current, already-paid month, because you had full access to the products during that period.
- We do not offer partial or pro-rata refunds.
- When purchased on a monthly plan, installation is a separate, paid service and is non-refundable once delivered.
Annual Plan
- You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.
- The annual plan includes a free installation. If the installation has already been delivered within those 14 days, the installation service fee then in effect is deducted from the refund amount, because the service has been provided.
- After the 14-day window, we do not refund the remaining part of the year. Your access continues until the end of the paid period and then stops unless the subscription is renewed.
Conditions for the Leased Bundle
These conditions apply to both the monthly and annual plans:
- If a refund is granted, all products included in the bundle must be removed from your systems and may not be used after the refund, consistent with the leased, non-ownership nature of the bundle.
- Refunds apply to the bundle as a whole. We do not refund individual products within the bundle.
- Switching from a monthly to an annual plan is an upgrade, not a refund. The new billing cycle applies going forward.
3. Custom Software Development
Our custom software development services are tailored to individual client requirements and are priced based on project scope, complexity, and estimated hours. While we aim for the highest standards in every project, we understand that expectations may vary.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the stage of development at the time of your cancellation request:
- 100% refund: the development process has not yet started, and no resources have been allocated to the project.
- 50% refund: the project is in progress and less than 50% of the work has been completed.
- 25% refund: the project is more than 50% but less than 75% completed.
- No refund: the project is 75% or more completed, as most of the development effort has been delivered.
Cancellation must be formally submitted by email or through the client portal. Refunds are not available for completed or delivered custom software projects. All intellectual property rights related to partially or fully refunded projects remain the exclusive property of RS Studio. You may not use, modify, or distribute any portion of the code or materials provided unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Product Services
Product-related services offered by RS Studio include, but are not limited to, installation, template integration, custom configuration, and priority support packages. These services are non-tangible and are considered non-returnable and non-refundable once work has commenced. By purchasing such a service, you acknowledge that no refund is granted once any portion of the service has been delivered or initiated.
This also covers the free installation included with the annual Leased Bundle. Once it has been delivered, it is treated as a delivered service and handled as described in Section 2.
We are committed to delivering services of the highest quality. If you believe a service does not match the agreed scope or contains significant deficiencies, please contact our team. We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer corrections or improvements at no additional cost.
